How Holiday Maximizer works
The planner is intentionally transparent. It does calendar arithmetic, not travel prediction.

Holiday calendar
We load the public-holiday calendar for your selected country or region and year.

Date-window scan
We test possible breaks and classify each day as a weekend, public holiday or working day that would require annual leave.

Ranking
We favour options that produce more consecutive days off per leave day, while still rewarding useful trip length and public-holiday leverage.
Important limitation
Public-holiday entitlement is not identical to a holiday calendar. Collective agreements, employer policies, substitute-day rules, local holidays and part-time schedules can all change what applies to you. Treat the result as planning guidance and verify before booking.
